Red Brick Rental Digest (Week of 2/3/19)

Welcome to the weekly Red Brick Real Estate Rental Digest! We wanted to spotlight some of our favorite rentals that come across our desk and give you more details than you’d find on one of our normal listings! If you’re interested in any of these listings, just give us a call/text/email/smoke signal (ok, joking!) and we can discuss setting up a showing.

#1 - Anderson Street in Beacon Hill

Why we Love it: The most important thing to note about this unit is the SPACE! This unit is truly the exception, not the rule, when it comes to rental property downtown -it is HUGE. You’re greeted by a large foyer which contains two large storage closets (another thing that’s usually lacking, storage space!) the bedroom is a comfortable size - but the show stopper here is the living room. With the bow window getting tons of sun and a bonus walk-in closet - the living room is perfect for entertaining (or keeping it all to yourself!) The apartment is rounded out by a large eat-in kitchen, laundry on the first floor and elevator in the building. This unit is pet friendly and available for immediate occupancy. The rent is $2,300 per month with heat and hot water incl.

#2 - Hancock Street in Beacon Hill

Why we Love it: It is so rare to see a rental unit as thoughtfully renovated as this one, without an outrageous price tag to match. We love this unit because it showcases top-notch renovations, in a quality condominium building while still maintaining a reasonable monthly rent. This unit comes completely furnished, but this isn’t your normal furnished rental (you know the ones - with the mismatched furniture making it look like the island of misfit furnishings!) everything was picked out by an owner with an eye for contemporary design. From the crystal chandeliers up top, to the marble kitchen and bath all the way to the adorable bonus built-in bunk beds… this unit is hitting all the marks. This spectacular unit is available for immediate occupancy, just bring your suitcase and move right in! The rent is $2,800 a month and includes heat and hot water. There is common laundry in the building as well as a common patio space.

#3 - Walnut Street in Beacon Hill

Why we Love it: Okay guys, lets get real here. We know there’s plenty of modern, new renovations for renters to choose from all across Boston. What makes Beacon Hill so special, is we’ve pretty much maintained most of our classic architecture and detailing - which is also why it’s so much fun to visit new units and discover the rich history behind them! This unit is no exception, only steps from the Frog Pond on Boston Common is this one bedroom, one bathroom apartment that showcases some stunning historical detailing. From the gilded crown moulding to the stain glass chandeliers and 2 (!!) decorative fireplaces, this unit does not disappoint. Plus it’s been outfitted with some modern amenities such as in-unit washer and dryer, and central air conditioning making it the perfect mix of old and new. This unit is available for 2/1 or 2/15 move-in and is located in a pet-friendly building. The monthly rent is $2,600 and includes heat and hot water.
